Experiment, discover and have fun at our monthly Science Club for ages 5-9. Get creative at Science Club this June and experiment with the energy of the Sun! Using colour changing beads, test the effectiveness of suncream against sunlight and UV torches, and learn about sun-safety. Create a colour changing Cyanotype picture, and a sun-powered fiddle charm to take home. For a fun finale, make spinning creations with solar panels, motors and K’Nex!
Suitable for ages 5-9 (accompanied by an adult)
What is included in your ticket:
90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult
Access to:
- Access to the woodland and outdoor areas (bring a change of clothes for the Water Lab) from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
- Parking (limited availability)
- Café 10am - 4pm

- Access to the Exploration Zone

All Saturday Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Emira's Kitchen café at the Science Oxford Centre is open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and rolls. Families are welcome to bring picnics to eat at our lunch tables.

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee. Admits one child and accompanying adult.
£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. A ll attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family day instead .
