The Rocksteady Roast returns to Florence Park's favourite community pub for a very special edition - celebrating 25 years of Skylarkin Soundsystem events in Oxford and soothing the hangovers from the main event at The Bullingdon the night before - with a live set by OX4's hot reggae/jazz quartet: Ranglin.
This new collaboration between Dave Noble (guitar) Nat Woodcock (keys) Ryan Quarterman (double bass) and Tobias Sonrisa Sturmer (drums) aims at broadening the acclaim of a true giant in Reggae and Jazz - Ernest Ranglin.
Expect reggae-jazz-calypso-funk grooves rooted down with iconic dub bass lines, topped off with classy jazz guitar & keyboard improvisations.
A Sunday to remember: Mouthwatering magic on a plate + 6hrs of vintage island rhythms courtesy of The Count and friends.
