After a powerful spring launch, The People’s Summit returns this fall with a one-day gathering designed to ignite real change in Ottawa. This time, we're going all in, focusing on how we win our city back with bold ideas, proven strategies, and the people power to make it happen.
Join local organizers, community advocates, and progressive changemakers from across the country for a day packed with inspiration and action. From a keynote by a leading voice in the movement, to a panel of trailblazers reshaping municipalities across Canada, we’re shining a spotlight on victories close to home and around the world.
We’ll celebrate Community Victories, the unsung wins and grassroots campaigns already shifting power in Ottawa, and highlight organizations and individuals doing the work that City Hall too often overlooks.
The event will feature a conversation with acclaimed author of Saving The City, Daniel Sanger. Daniel is an award-winning journalist and writer based in Montreal, who has worked with Projet Montréal, Montreal Gazette and The Canadian Press, The Economist, Walrus and is a founding editor of the Montreal Mirror.
Later in the afternoon, roll up your sleeves and get practical in our Municipal Boot Camps. Whether you want to run for office, support a candidate, or build stronger local campaigns, these workshops will give you the tools to make your mark in 2026.
With an exhibitor hall, space to connect, and time to build real relationships, this isn’t just another conference — it’s the launchpad for a people-powered movement.
