Pride is Political is a series of events that aim to guide folks beyond celebration and into aspects of activism and diverse types of learning through movement, art, and group discussions. Pride is Political seeks to focus on the political nature of Pride and commit to highlighting the historical and ongoing struggles and contributions of QTBIPOC, disabled people and sex workers in anti-colonial, anti-carceral and anti-racist efforts to end gender-based violence.
Join us on Friday, August 8th, for “Rooted in Care: Solidarity Beyond Borders” community gathering with film screenings, performances, and a shared vision.
