'Both men and women can benefit from the postures and breath-work taught in Pelvic Floor Yoga - as we share the same core muscles, and layers of the pelvic floor, as well as many of the same concerns.

The pelvis undergoes many changes in a lifetime. Some unique to ones life, and some common to the passage of age, as hormones influence us each at their own course. The mind-body awareness Yoga promotes is well recognized by practitioners and physiotherapists alike for some of its benefits to pelvic floor stability and recovery, and often does well - paired with other therapies. If you are just curious, have concerns regarding pelvic health, or are in the care of a doctor or physiotherapist, and seeking a practice to compliment your current therapy, Pelvic Floor Yoga may be helpful.
