Handelfest

Spring is the time for festivals, so come join us for Rideau Chorale’s Handelfest. The concert features his Coronation Anthems. As well, the choir will be performing Awake the Lofty Trumpet Sounds; See, the Conquering Hero Comes; and Music, Spread thy Voice Around. This will be complemented by some of Handel’s love songs.

Rideau Chorale is joined by Ania Hejnar (soprano) and Mark Donnelly (countertenor), as well as Matthew Larkin on organ. And, of course, there will be trumpets and a timpani!

Southminster United Church is accessible through the Aylmer Street door closest to Bank Street.
