Bake One, Taste Many! Join the ultimate cake-lover’s event! Bring a uncut cake & swap slices with fellow bakers. You’ll leave with a box full of delicious slices.
1. Must purchase a ticket through link to register.
2. Bake a homemade Cake or purchase one from your local bakery. Full size cake un-cut required. (Minimum size 6inch wide x 6 inch tall)
3. Arrive at 12 noon to Venue, Mosaic Convention Centre located at 2465 St.Laurent Blvd. Ottawa, ON. with your ticket and Cake!
4. Make sure to label your cake with a Title and any key allergens (nuts, carrots, liquor).
- we ask that all cakes be free of any pork ingrediants (no Lard, Gelatin, Jello, Marshmellows, Bacon etc).
5. Ages 16+ only. No Childern or guests to accompany ticket holders. Each person who would like to attend is required to have a ticket and cake to enter cake walk in Hall A. Guest 16+ are welcome to stay in Hall B without tickets and are welcome to purchase optional beverages or savory menu items being offered in Hall B.
6. Upon registration, you will be provided with a Cake Box. Box 1 = up to 10 slices, Box 2 = 10+ slices. You will be able to take as many servings as you brought.
7. GLUTEN FREE CAKES - We will have a seperate table for GLUTEN free cakes. If you are interested in selecting from this table your cake should also be Gluten Free.
- If you would like to select from the Regular Cakes too, your welcome to attend a 2nd round with your 2nd cake entry. (only 1 ticket needs to be purchased, but you'll need 2 cakes)
- you will be eating at your own risk, please read labels on cakes.
8. Event Timeline : Arrival 12 noon. All cakes to be placed by 1pm. We will begin calling groups up at 1pm to begin, the Cake Walk. You will have 6-ish minutes to get your slices.
9. Your welcome to bring your own cake stand and server. Please clearly label your items with name and contact number. You are welcome to collect your items after 3pm.
10. Seating - Hall B of the venue will be set with tables and chairs for you to enjoy your sweet slices! Forks and Napkins provided.
11. Sugar Overload! Don't worry we will have a Beverage Cafe and Mocktails available for purchase by Sweet Surprises 613...and to Balance out the Sugars, Mosaic Convention Center will have Savory Menu items available for purchase. (Cash or Email money transfer payments available).
12. PARKING - the venue has ample FREE parking available.
