Munitionettes: Women at Defence Industries Limited

As the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War approaches, communities across the country are commemorating the contributions of Canadians on the home front. Visit a new permanent exhibit highlighting the stories of female war industry workers from the Defence Industries Limited Pickering Works munitions plant.

"Munitionettes: Women at Defence Industries Limited" releases on April 24 at 1000 Stevenson Rd. N. Oshawa Ontario.

This Museum Studies Capstone Project emerged out of the partnership between The Canadian Tank Museum and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information and was developed by Joel Ganzevoort, Andrew Webb-Trezzi and Amy Bridges.
