Bringing it back Old School NWAS style. You guys know what that means, Yep, t-shirts, raffles and FOOD! The fundraiser will be for our NWAS Volleyball Club Scholarships to help athletes/families pay for training. We raised $2000 dollars last year, we’re hoping to beat that. Our NWAS juniors side is a non-profit so we do accept donations and sponsorships and can give you our 501c3 tax id.
All athletes will receive an NWAS t-shirt and Lunch will be provided! Bring cash to purchase raffle tickets cause we’re gonna have some pretty cool raffles.
Format: Adult/Junior RC4’s (reverse coed quads)
When: Saturday July 12th, 2025
Cost: $160/team (Cash or Venmo at @nwasvbc) Please pay as a team

7:45am - Check-In
8:15am - All Players Meeting
8:30am - Promptly - First Serve
Format:
Pool Play (3 and 4 Team Pools). Seeding for bracket play will be based on Win / Loss record, then +/- Points
Playoffs - Double Elimination. Match play in Winners bracket (21, 21, 15). Loser's bracket - 1st round match play, 2nd round to finish is 1 Set to 25 points.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all divisions. (Divisions will be split into a north and south bracket)
NWAS Reverse Coed Rules:
Woman's height net
Guys must hit behind the 10ft line
Guys must hit in a visible upward trajectory if they step on the 10ft line (this includes guys taking the 10ft line up with them)
Guys can block guys including guy free ball overs (no directional blocking)
Guys can fake block a girl as long as they don't contact the ball above the plain of the net
NO setting on a serve receive
Hands does not have to be together on serve receive (must use palm or flat hands)
Setting on free ball over is OK (as long as it comes out CLEAN)
Block does NOT count as a touch
Double contact on first ball over is OK
Directional blocking is OK
NO directional set over (shoulders must be squared when setting forward or behind)
NO open hand tipping
Must rotate servers
Does not need to rotate positions
A net is a net (women hair is OK)
For RC4's Maximum of 2 guys on the court
If more than 2 girls then they must notify the other team and director of permanent designed girl as guy for the entire day.
