TWO DAY WORKSHOP 9/13 and 9/14 12pm-4pm
In this two session workshop, participants will learn the versatile process of using Press-N-Peel Paper to etch designs into metal. Beginning with a copper bracelet blank, students will practice transferring and etching designs as well as using a hammer to form a cuff bracelet. Next, each student will craft a custom sterling silver cuff utilizing these techniques.
The chemistry of acid etching will be discussed as well as how to properly size, shape and finish cuff bracelets. This is an ideal process to learn if you would like to create custom gifts or learn the basic techniques needed to start a small business making etched jewelry.
