CEQA: Is it still a tool for protecting historic places?

Join the Orange County preservation community at the historic St. John's Lutheran Church in Orange for the next Preservation Roundtable. We'll learn about the role the California Environmental Quality Act has played in raising awareness about development impacts on historic buildings and districts; how it is used by residents and cities to protect historic places; and what the current challenges are to its viability.

The Preservation Roundtable is free with registration, open to experienced community advocates as well as folks new to historic preservation who want to network and learn how to protect the places that matter to them in their communities. Past roundtables have covered topics such as surveys, tax incentives, and housing legislation.
