Session 3: Incident Response & Business Continuity

This half day event will be hosted by Halo, and organised by the Northern WARP. This session will be the second of five sessions looking at different parts of the supply chain. (You do not need to attend all sessions if you are unable to do so, each session tackles a separate part which can be attended as a standalone event.)

Developing an Incident Response Plan

• Key components of an effective Incident Response Plan (IRP).
• Steps to take during the first 24 hours after detecting an attack.
• Case study analysis of successful incident response.

Business Continuity Planning

• Understanding the relationship between incident response and business continuity.
• Creating and maintaining a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
• Key considerations for ensuring operational resilience.

Post-Incident Analysis and Reporting

• Discussion on how to conduct a post-incident review.
• Importance of documentation and reporting for future prevention.
