Upon successful completion of the course, which includes passing a computer-based exam, participants are eligible for certification through CAOHC. Certification is good for five years.Day 1: 8:00am to 5:00pm ESTDay 2: 8:00am to 5:00pm EST (must have access to hearing protection and otoscope)Day 3: 8:00am to 1:00pm ESTIncludes short breaks and lunch breakCourse Director: Our CAOHC approved Course Directors are credentialed or licensed in audiology, industrial hygiene, occupational health nursing, otolaryngology, occupational medicine, noise-control engineering or safety, and have demonstrated expertise in hearing loss prevention. They utilize a variety of disciplines and tools to provide a complete and positive learning experience.Virtual Course Requirements:Computer with reliable internet connection and a functional webcamOtoscope and a person to act as a patient during practicum on Day 2. Confirmed registrations who transfer to another scheduled class location within 10 days of the start of the course are subject to a service charge.
