Our workshops provide educators a space to share knowledge, experience the outdoors and the forest industry, and bring the outdoors into the classroom with free curriculum and resources from the award-winning Project Learning Tree and forestry program from the Tennessee Forestry Association. Teachers from all grades are welcome as well as both formal and non-formal educators.
Project Learning Tree-Join us for a fun, interactive day of learning and doing the award-winning curriculum of Project Learning Tree. Educators will leave this workshop with a free activity book with over 80 activities that meet NGSS, STEM, Common Core, and many more educational correlations.
Walk in the Woods-Come walk in the woods with foresters and other professionals to discover the outdoor classroom, the diversity of landscape, and sustainability of nature in Tennessee.
Aquatics and Mill Tour-Dive into our local waterways, discover aquatic insects and fish, and learn how to use our local aquatics as a teaching tool during our workshops. Learn about the forest industry that funds these workshops but also supplies the world with the products we use everyday!

Although we would love to have participants from previous years attend, we are promoting this opportunity to reach new teachers and educators this year, to make it special for those local to Scott, Hardeman, Marion, and surrounding TN counties.
