Regenerative Agricultural Practices for Urban Growers [Workshop]

Join us at the City Sprouts Urban Farm (5420 N 3rd Street) for a hands-on workshop with Gary Lesoing, Emeritus UNL Extension Educator, focused on regenerative farming in city spaces. Learn about a variety of sustainable practices, with a special emphasis on cover cropping to build healthy, resilient soil.

Participants will get to see cover crops in action and try their hand at pressing them to prepare for planting. Free cover crop seeds will be available for all registered attendees!

Registration fees for City Sprouts Workshops are suggested donations of $5/person for lecture-style classes, and $10/person for value-added classes (i.e., take-home goods, cooking classes, etc.). No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
