Luma Knotty Auras Tour '25 | Nicole's Bar, Olympia, WA

Freedom Thought Collective presents Luma Knotty's Auras Tour '25 | Award-winning Wisconsin band Luma Knotty brings their illuminated blend of guitar-driven funk, rock, and reggae to Nicole's Bar in Olympia, WA on Friday, May 30th from 9pm to 12am.

Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Luma Knotty is continuously evolving, while honoring their diverse musical roots. Founded in 2017 by guitarist and lead singer Ryan Patrick, he had the idea to fuse his musical roots in blues and funk rock with his formal training from McNally Smith College of Music and his years of experience in roots reggae. Incorporating the roots of various Latin styles, Luis on Keys has also been formally trained in gospel and jazz, which has helped to shape the band's eclectic sound.

Luma Knotty has won the 2019 and 2024 Wisconsin Area Music Awards in the World category, and most recently won the 2025 Bay Area Music Award in the Latin/World/Reggae/Ska category. The band released their third album in September of 2024 -'Favorite Dream', which is available anywhere you can find music. The song 'Auras' from this album is the inspiration for their Spring Tour.
