Travel back to the Renaissance for an hour of musical comedy gold in Something Rotten! JR. Adapted from the Broadway hit that Time Out New York hailed as "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years," Something Rotten! JR. celebrates one undeniable truth: “nothing’s as amazing as a musical!”
The Main Street Academy is a 10 week program dedicated to developing the next generation of theatre artists both on stage and behind the scenes. Every week, the students get a half hour workshop on some aspect of theatrical production, whether it's vocal health, audition technique, lighting and design. Besides learning their material for the show, the students are also involved in creating some of the props and sets for the show.
Whether your children aspire to become professional entertainers, actors, singers, dancers, technical crew, or just want to experience the joy of theatre, we welcome them to be part of our Main Street community. We are dedicated to enriching young people’s lives through their involvement in the Performing Arts.
Our classes are designed to heighten the young performer’s confidence, imagination, creativity, and install a strong, positive self-image to help your child develop poise and ease when working in a theatrical environment. By being a part of a group that works towards a creative goal, students learn teamwork, cooperation, and responsibility.
