The Leyenda Convention (June 30–July 2, 2025) is a three-day celebration of guitar artistry, education, and community, presented by the Leyenda Foundation. Held at Oklahoma City University, the convention features three immersive institutes: the Celedonio Romero Guitar Institute, the Charlie Christian Jazz Guitar Institute, and the John Knowles Fingerstyle Institute, alongside ensemble performances, professional development sessions, and youth mentorship programs.
Kicking off the convention, internationally acclaimed guitarist Daniel Marx will headline the Opening Night Concert on June 30—a performance that embodies Leyenda’s mission to honor tradition while embracing innovation.
