Free “Learn to Row” Day

Every year RIVERSPORT participates in USRowing’s National Learn to Row initiative by offering free Learn to Row lessons. It’s a great opportunity to see if you’d like to get into the sport of rowing!

Learn to Row Day is free, but registration is required. The event is open to ages 14 and older. Participants should wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes & socks, and bring a hat, sunglasses, water bottle & sunscreen. Participants will start on ergs – land rowing machines – to learn the basic motion, then move to a rowing barge to get on the water.
