The event benefits the Oklahoma Firefighters Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting burn victims, first responders, and their families in times of need.
The Foundation also funds the OKC 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, an annual fundraiser that helps cover essential costs for first responders and their loved ones during hospitalization in the Oklahoma City metro area.
About the Oklahoma Firefighters Foundation
Established in 1983 as the Firefighter's Clown Society to educate children on fire safety.
1988: The first Burn Apartment was launched to provide lodging for families of hospitalized firefighters.
2010: The Oklahoma Firefighters Foundation replaced the Firefighter's Clown Society, assuming all financial responsibilities for supporting burn victims and their families.
2012: The inaugural OKC 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb became the Foundation’s primary fundraising event, continuing its mission to support the Burn Apartment and offer critical assistance to families in need.
