About the event

Dye your own yarn on the farm

Learn how to microwave dye a skein of merino wool yarn (from our sheep). We use Jaquard home dyes, 3 colors to blend into your own lovely, unique colorway. One skein will make a hat and fingerless mitts.

Think camouflage, or garden palettes, or matching your favorite pet’s coat!

We only offer the class to five people at one time. So arrange with your friend and get back with me ASAP!

Once you have the skills to dye on your own, the sky’s the limit!

$100. Class includes one 3-ply skein, 236 yards, DK weight merino wool; a choice of 3 dye colors, equipment for dying and a pattern to take home and knit.
