EAA Young Eagles Airport Tour (And Optional Flight)

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 90 is hosting a program for local youth. We're excited to invite you to breakfast, a free flight and lessons about aviation!
When: Saturday, June 21 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. (might end sooner)
What: Breakfast, lessons about aviation, and a free flight
Where: Oakdale Municipal Airport at 8181 Laughlin Road in Oakdale, California. Note: After Laughlin Road curves to the right to enter the airport, continue straight through the open gate. After driving to the gate, turn left and then right to drive along the front of the hangers. The EAA Hanger is one of the last hangers.
Part 1: You are invited to join EAA Chapter 90 for its monthly breakfast & meeting. The breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. ($6 optional donation). After breakfast, the EAA chapter may have some business to discuss and will watch an aviation educational video.
Part 2: The official scouting event will end and those youth who are also enrolled in the Young Eagle program can stay for part 2. After the video, youth who have signed up for free flights will be divided into two groups. While one group goes into the air, the other group will learn about the parts of a plane and the forces at work during flight. After about 30 minutes, the two groups will switch.
