About the event

September 2025 - Members Meeting
Come and Welcome in the New Growing Season with us!

After a short break over Winter (Jun - Aug), our FIRST Members Meeting for the new growing season 25/26 will be held on 18 Sep 2025 at 7.30pm.

If you are new to growing dahlias or want to start growing dahlias and are unsure of what is involved, then this meeting is for you!

Our growing update this year will be presented by Bec Scoble from Floral and Stem! We can't wait to hear from Bec and learn about how Bec got started with dahlias and what she is doing on her farm right now to prepare for the new season!

Our Guest Speaker is Peter Briscoe from Green Mate agriculture. Peter will be presenting "Getting our soil ready for the new season". With 20 years experience in developing soil regeneration programs utilising soil biology, Peter has worked across Australia and the USA regenerating farms, improving cropping outcomes and helping farmers reduce costs and improve outcomes. Using cutting edge technology, DNA functionality soil mapping and decades of experience, he and his team have developed soil health, plant protection and nutrition programs, designed to maintain and build on current performance while reducing synthetic fertiliser and chemical applications.

This meeting includes our famous Tuber Clump sale where our members are offered the option to buy a raffle ticket to choose a complete dahlia clump to take home. Dahlia tubers can then be planted out in Spring. This is a great way to get started on your dahlia growing journey or to add to your collection.

Please see your eNewsletter closer to the date, for all the details, including LIVE streaming links.

Our meeting room opens from 7pm, meeting starts at 7.30pm.

All welcome.
