A gentle yoga class suitable for all. Beginners and more experienced students welcome. (Not suitable for Pregnancy, please contact me for information about my Pregnancy Yoga class)
I teach alignment based Hatha Yoga. The class will incorporate a balance of energising and relaxing through some gentle yoga poses, breath, relaxation and meditation techniques and above all fun!.
Teaching since 2013, I use alignment principles to help a safe practice and make my classes accessible for everyone in the class to work within their own individual needs of body and mind.
Yoga poses and movements are always given at varying levels and with adaptations to suit each individual. I use alignment principles to help a safe practice and make my classes accessible for everyone in the class to work within their own individual needs of body and mind.
The class is aimed at creating some calm space for your body and mind during your regular weekly activities.
Whether you are new to yoga or have done yoga before you are very welcome, my classes are friendly and fun and I aim to ensure that every person attending is able to enjoy the yoga we do in the best way for them. I always offer alternatives so that you can work at your own pace and within the individual needs of your own body and mind. Stepping through the door of a new class can be daunting, but please be assured of a warm welcome! I have a fabulous community of students and I’d love you to be part of it.
Please bring a mat and blanket and if you have them yoga blocks and a belt . (You can use a cushion and a soft belt such as a dressing gown belt if you don't have yoga props)
