Go Stargazing at Sutton Bank - See the Perseids near their peak!

Join astronomer Richard Darn at the Sutton Bank Star Hub for this special stargazing event.

The Perseids are one of the very best meteor showers of the year. We'll look skywards to take advantage of the darker skies to spot these amazing shooting stars before a spectacular full moon rises over the North York Moors.

Plus, we have a treasure chest of celestial delights overhead, from lovely star clusters to sparkling constellations. Powerful telescopes and binoculars will stand ready to share the view. Definitely not to be missed!

This event is being staged in collaboration with Go Stargazing. We are committed to making stargazing accessible and affordable - viewing the heavens shouldn't cost the Earth.
