North Olmsted Community Council Homecoming/Fireworks show

Citizens of North Olmsted, good news. North Olmsted Community Council the all-volunteer group that sponsors the Homecoming Festival, Citizen of the Year, Scholarships for North Olmsted graduating seniors, and improvements at the park, Community Cabin, and senior center with the help of the city administration resurrected the Homecoming Festival for one day in August in conjunction with the City Fireworks show.
Starting at 2 p.m. at the Great Northern Mall south of Applebee’s, East of Best Buy on the grass area we will have the Big Tent set up for the Taste of North Olmsted, we currently have as many vendors attending as last year.
4 p.m. The Homecoming Parade will kick off at the High School heading to the mall, the route will follow Butternut Ridge to Kennedy Ridge/ Victorica Ln, East on Country Club Blvd. Then turn into the entrance of the mall at U.S. Bank.
The North Olmsted Eagle Marching Band will be performing a concert as well as the Eaglets Kickline, and the Flag Team will also be performing after the parade near the stage.
There will be more items added to the Big Tent later in the evening. More to come on that.
6 p.m., The FM Project Band a Steely Dan cover band will perform from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
