North Aurora is going to the dogs (and cats and all the pets!) with Dog Days of Summer taking place on Saturday, July 19 from 9am—12pm at North Aurora Riverfront Park!
Join us for a pet parade, fun contests with drool-worthy prizes (for the pups!) and the chance to find your next furry family member as we work with local rescue groups to bring available dogs on site! Pre-registrations for the Pet Parade and Contest categories are now open on the Village website here:

The categories for the Pet Parade include:

🟡Furriest Pet
🟢Most Unusual Pet (unique animal, species, appearance, etc.)
🔵Best Costume
🟣Best Twinning (Owner and Pet Match!)
The categories for Contests include:
🔴Waggiest Tail — whichever pet’s tail has the most wags in 1-minute will win!
🟠Highest Jumper — whoever leaps the highest will claim this title!
🟡Speed Demon (dogs only) — is your dog the fastest? Put them to the test!
🟢Best Puppy Eyes (dogs only) — which pup will make our judges go ‘aww?’
🔵Best Trick — show us your pet’s best trick!
