This workshop draws from the ancient practice of lectio divina — a way of reading texts as portals to the sacred. We’ll begin our session with short, evocative passages (from mystical texts, poetry, or literature), then move through listening, writing and reflection in layered stages. The aim is not critique or craft, but deepening — into our relationship with language, our unique voice and the boundless imagination. Sessions are accessible to anyone with an interest in writing.

What is Divinatory Poetics?�
Think of it as a writing practice that helps you listen deeply — to language, to your inner world, to the mystery that lives just under the surface. You don’t need to bring anything, and no writing experience is necessary. I’ll provide short, potent texts to spark your imagination. From there, we’ll move through a simple structure of reading, reflecting, and writing — not to analyze or "get it right," but to discover what wants to come through us personally.
This is about intuition, not critique. You just need a notebook and pen, (or your writing device/tools of choice) and curiosity about the power of words.
