ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Dan Altano (headliner) has carved a name for himself in the national comedy scene by narrating his life story with brutal honesty, wit, and heart. Raised in New Jersey, Dan headlines clubs and theaters across the country. Dan’s 2023 Album, Stand-Up Dad, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and is currently played on constant rotation on Sirius XM radio. Offstage, Dan is the co-host of the podcast Rank It! and is a member of the sketch comedy group Sketch Artists.

Juan Pantaleon (feature act) Proud Mexi-rican-american son of a bad hombre, illegal immigrant, drug dealer father and Newyorican "religious enthusiast" mother, he is a man with stories to tell. Whether it was attending a private school while living in the ghetto, moving to Florida (of all places) to find himself, and unintentionally starting his comedy career. Juan has quickly gone from routinely performing for bar flys and lost souls, to becoming a regular at comedy clubs and theaters all over the East Coast and beyond. Juan’s carefully crafted satire brings his unique life experiences to the stage where the result is always, pure COMEDY.

Charlie Nadler (host) owes his existence to a TV show; his parents met while writing together on Laverne & Shirley. In 10+ years of performing standup while based in Los Angeles, New York City, and now the Berkshires, he has released two albums and told jokes around the world in clubs, colleges, festivals, bars, country clubs, teen centers, basements, attics, and one barber shop. He also develops screenplays and serves as co-founder of Laugh Dealers, a company that produces custom comedy shows and consulting for companies and individuals. Nadler relocated here in 2019 with his wife Cary. Together they raise two cats who do not care for comedy.

ABOUT BRIGHT IDEAS BREWING

Founded in 2016 on the campus of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, Bright Ideas Brewing started with a simple goal; to provide good beer to museum-goers and North Adams locals alike, creating a common space where the two groups could connect over a beer.

Since then, Bright Ideas has grown and evolved, with every batch of beer aiming to improve on the one that came before. The reach of their beers expanded when they began canning and distributing their beers to local restaurants and package stores around western Massachusetts.
