Take Over Thursday: Jura, France with McKenzie of Robins Cellars

If you’ve ever picked up a bottle with Mary Taylor on the label, you know the deal: it’s going to be outrageously delicious, thoughtfully made, and an incredible value. So when I had the chance to taste through her lineup from Frédéric Lambert in Jura, France, I was absolutely floored by the complexity and charm packed into every bottle.

Now’s your chance to try them for yourself! In this one-hour class, guest speaker McKenzie from one of our favorite distributors, Robins Cellars, will guide us through four Lambert wines—a sparkling, two whites, and one red—showcasing the wild beauty of this lesser-known French region.

We’ll dive into the off-the-beaten-path terroir of Jura, explore the Lambert estate’s winemaking history, and get nerdy about grape varieties like Savagnin and Trousseau that rarely show up outside of this alpine enclave.
