Drop Spindle 101 with Beth

Have you ever wanted to know how yarn was made? Here's your chance to learn about traditional spinning on a drop spindle.

In this class Beth will give a talk about the history of spinning yarn and textiles. You'll get your hands on a drop spindle and start your spinning journey. Practice makes perfect but you'll probably get some spun yarn by the end of class. Drop spindles stay in the classroom, but you can use them here during open studio time and we'll also talk about how to craft your own.
