Join Jac Keleher, alongside soundscape musician Fin Wegener for an evening of deep healing & receptivity. This seasonal, workshop-style Yin class is part of a five part workshop series diving deep into the 5 Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through the practice of Yin Yoga.
After some time away, Jac is returning to share one of her well-loved immersions, diving deep into the wisdom of the 5 Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through the practice of Yin Yoga, accompanied by live music. These seasonal workshops have been moving through the ‘Nourishing Cycle/Wu Xing’ of all five elements, designed to bring you home into a whole-bodied state of harmony and balance. These workshops are designed to educate you into the empowerment of your own self-healing, and is for anyone wanting to deepen their Yin practice and understanding of the body & ancient wisdom of TCM.
Through poetry, story-telling, embodiment and drawing upon the deep wisdom of the natural world, this workshop is an opportunity to meet ourselves within our human bodies, as a part of nature. The practice is designed to balance and harmonise all layers of your being through yin postures, meridian work, acupressure, pranayama and meditation.
This journey welcomes the changing of seasons into Spring - a time when the unmanifest rises from the eternal, new life emerges and the element of 'Wood' is alive! You will learn about how this manifests in our physical bodies and emotions, and ways to keep yourself balanced and grounded throughout this transitional time.
Special guest musician Fin Wegener works with field recordings, sound synthesis, and organic instruments to create enveloping soundscapes that explore transcendence through stasis, quietening the mind and grounding the body.
