পশ্চিমের রবি
পূবের সাথে পশ্চিমের যোগসুত্র রবীন্দ্রনাথের হাতে সার্থক রূপ পেয়েছে সেই যোগসুত্রে আমাদের সঙ্গীত শিল্প সাহিত্য যেমন সমৃদ্ধ হয়েছে, তেমনি করে পশ্চিমের জগতেও লেগেছিলো প্রাচ্যের ভাবদর্শনের আলো। দু’য়ের এই মেলবন্ধন আমাদের সমকালেও ভীষণ প্রাসঙ্গিক। বিশেষ করে আমরা যারা প্রবাসে বসে রবীন্দ্রনাথের চর্চা করি তাদের ক্ষেত্রে এটা জরুরিও বটে। প্রবাসে যে নতুন প্রজন্ম বেড়ে উঠছে তাদের সাথে রবীন্দ্রনাথকে জুড়ে দিতে হলে এই যোগসূত্রকে ফিরে ফিরে দেখা চাই।
সেই প্রয়াসে রবীন্দ্রনাথের নানা বিষয়কে চর্চায় রাখতে চাই সব সময়। তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় আনন্দধারা আর্টসের নিবেদন “পশ্চিমের রবি" -পশ্চিমা সঙ্গীত,রবীন্দ্রনাথের গান ও আবৃত্তির সম্মিলন। রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত পরিবেশনায় রয়েছেন বিশিষ্ট রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত শিল্পী ড. ইমতিয়াজ আহমেদ ও পাশ্চাত্য সঙ্গীতে রয়েছেন উর্বী মধুরা ও পূর্বা অধরা। চমৎকার এই সান্ধ্য আয়োজনে আপনারা সবান্ধব আমন্ত্রিত।

The cultural bond between east and west got its intellectual excellence in the writings and composition of Tagore. It not only enriched Indian music and literature but also influenced the west with the philosophy of the east. The amalgamation of these two greatest artistic ideas is still very relevant in our contemporary time.
‘Tagore and The West’ is a magnificent musical ensemble of Western Folk Songs dating back eighteenth century with composition of Tagore. The programme will feature renowned Tagore singer Dr Imtiaz Ahmed and distinguished Western classical vocalists Urbi Modhura and Purba Audhora.
This outstanding musical show will certainly entertain the audience with spellbound performances and surely not to be missed.
