Μουσικοχορευτική Παράσταση “ΚΑΘΑΡΣΙΣ”

Την Πέμπτη 17 Ιουλίου η ομάδα ΟΓΜΙΟΣ παρουσιάζει την Μουσικοχορευτική παράσταση «ΚΑΘΑΡΣΙΣ», ένα ταξίδι μέσα από μύθους, σκοτάδι και φως.

Εμπνευσμένη από τη σχέση ιστορίας και μύθου, η παράσταση συνεχίζει το έργο “Ο Όγμιος Σφάγγει Γαργαντάν στους Γολγούς”, όπου η αφήγηση και η μουσική ταξίδευαν
στη Μεσόγειο, δημιουργώντας φανταστικούς μύθους γύρω από την θεότητα Όγμιο.

Στη νέα παράσταση, ο Όγμιος εξορκίζει, με τον χορό και τον φωτιστικό σχεδιασμό να ενισχύει την αφήγηση και να προσθέτει νέες διαστάσεις. Η παράσταση ανήκει στο πλαίσιο του μουσικού, χορευτικού και οπερατικού θεάματος με έντονο πρωτοποριακό χαρακτήρα. Συνδυάζει στοιχεία από τη Ροκ, τη σύγχρονη κλασική και ηλεκτρονική μουσική, ενώ παράλληλα ενσωματώνει πολυρυθμίες και φωνητικά . Οι Άντης Σκορδής και Παναγιώτης Μηνά δημιουργούν μια ηχητική ατμόσφαιρα με τύμπανα, κιθάρες, φωνές και ηλεκτρονικά, ενώ οι χορεύτριες Μελίσσα Κωνσταντινίδη Γκάρο και Ιόλη Κασκάνη μεταφέρουν το σκοτάδι της παράστασης στη σκηνή, διαλύοντας τα όρια με το κοινό.

On July 17th, the group OGMIOS presents the musical and dance performance "KATHARSIS" – a journey through myth, darkness, and light.

Inspired by the relationship between history and myth, the performance continues the play "Ogmios Slays Gargantuan at Golgoi" where narration and music traveled to the Mediterranean, creating fantastic myths around the deity Ogmios.

In this new performance, Ogmios is exorcised, with dance and light design enhancing the narrative and adding a new dimension to the experience. The performance belongs to the framework of musical, dance and operatic spectacle with a strong innovative character. It combines elements of Rock, contemporary classical and electronic music, while incorporating polyrhythmic structures and atmospheric vocals. Andys Skordis and Panagiotis Minas create a sonic atmosphere with
drums, guitar, vocals and electronics, while dancers Melissa Konstantinidis Garo and Ioli Kaskani bring the darkness of the performance to the stage, dissolving the boundaries with the audience.
