Lefteris Olympios “The Anna of the Three” Visual Art Exhibition

Gloria Gallery is pleased to present, from Wednesday, 3 December 2025, the new solo exhibition of the internationally acclaimed Cypriot artist Lefteris Olympios, titled “The Anna of the Three.”

The exhibition consists of three distinct sections, which converse with each other through themes of history, memory, and artistic continuity:

1. Section “Caterina Cornaro – The Third Hand”

An artistic exploration of the handover of Cyprus to the Venetians by Caterina Cornaro. Olympios re-examines this pivotal historical moment, proposing a contemporary visual interpretation of power, loss, and the transfer of identity.

2. Section “The Anna of the Three”

From which the exhibition takes its title, this body of work is inspired by a rare 16th-century icon housed in the Byzantine Museum of Nicosia. The artist draws from the spirituality and primal force of Byzantine iconography, transforming it into a contemporary and deeply personal visual language.

3. Section “Travels with Renoir”

A personal interpretation of works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Olympios engages in a visual dialogue with the French Impressionist through his own reworkings, where chromatic sensitivity and freedom of line meet his distinctive poetic gaze.

With “The Anna of the Three,” Lefteris Olympios continues his long artistic journey, exploring the timelessness of the image, the relationship between tradition and contemporary creation, and the power of visual storytelling.

The exhibition will run until Saturday, 3 January 2026.
