Renew the Bay

In collaboration with Coastal Conservation Association Florida, Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, OysterCorps , and Franklin’s Promise Coalition, our Natural Resources team is holding a planting event in Choctawhatchee Bay near Bluewater Bay Marina in July and are looking for volunteers! A boat will be provided as a shuttle to and from the site, but please feel free to bring your own kayaks/canoes to reach the site. Here are the details:

Time: 8am-11am

Where: we will meet at Bluewater Bay Marina: 290 Yacht Club Dr, Niceville, FL 32578

When: July 12, 2025

What to bring: Kayak, canoe and/or paddle board if you have them. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and wet, booties or water resistant closed toes shoes, gardening gloves, sun protection, and re-fillable water bottle.
