Niagara Parks Community Tree Planting Day 2025

A community that plants together, grows together! Take part in our annual Community Tree Planting Day and join families, community members and volunteers for this fun tree planting activity. Hosted in collaboration with Forests Ontario, this family-friendly event offers you the chance to directly support a local reforestation project and learn about the benefits of trees, shade and green urban spaces.

The event is held rain or shine, and participants are asked to bring a shovel, gardening gloves and a lot of energy! Niagara Parks will supply trees, mulch, technical support, extra shovels, gloves and snacks.

Space is limited for this free event and pre-registration is required.
