Pet Microchip Clinic
The 4th of July is one of the busiest times of year for lost pets. Fireworks and celebrations can cause even the calmest pets to run off in fear. Make sure your furry friend has a safe way home—get them microchipped!

Why it matters:
The City of Newton has updated its policy on stray animals.

Without a microchip: Pets are only held for 3 days.

With a current microchip: Pets are held for 7 days, giving you more time to reunite.
