Learn the Library - Business Resources: Patent and Trademark Research

Our new monthly “Learn the Library” program will share resources for the business community featuring David Irvin, director of the Guin Library at Hatfield Marine Science Center.

David will be discussing resources related to patent and trademark search: providing a brief description of intellectual property, tips and tricks for initial patent and trademark searches, and an overview of the Patent and Trademark Resource Center program, which OSU Libraries joined in November 2024. The event will conclude with links to Web resources and pathways for inventors and entrepreneurs to get in touch with his team for more assistance.
