We’re thrilled to celebrate the unveiling of Newport’s permanent rainbow light installation, created by internationally acclaimed Solar Spectrum Artist Peter Erskine. This free event will be held on Thursday, August 28, from 5:30–6:30 PM.

🎨 Unveiling of the stunning new rainbow light artwork

🎵 Community sing-along featuring beloved songs like “De Colores,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and “The Rainbow Connection”
🎥 Screening of a short documentary about the Healing Rainbow Lights project

Bring your family and friends to celebrate the power of color, light, and imagination in public libraries! This event is part of the statewide initiative @100Libraries: Healing Rainbow Lights for Oregonians, highlighting art that brings hope and healing to communities.
