Lunch & Learn: Benefits and Barriers

Bring your lunch and join us for PPCC’s Lunch & Learn Series on the fourth Tuesday of each month. This is a free opportunity to learn and improve resiliency in ourselves and our community. All Lunch and Learn seminars will run from noon to 1pm and will be conducted at PPCC’s main office at 707 Gum Rock Court in Newport News unless noted otherwise.

Forgiveness has been encouraged for thousands of years by major world religions. No close relationship or community exists long without inevitable tensions and conflict. In some cases, conflict leads to pain, injury, and alienation. After an interpersonal wound has been created, what responses are potentially healing and constructive? Forgiveness is a journey of many steps. While there are benefits of expressing forgiveness, there are also barriers that often hinder us from truly letting go. Join us as we explore the journey toward forgiveness and discover ways forgiveness can transform our relationships and community, facilitated by Rev. Becky Glass, LMFT, Executive Director.
