Beaks and Binos: Beginner Birding Basics
New to birding? Join us for a relaxed and beginner-friendly program where you'll learn the essentials of bird identification—what to look and listen for, where to find birds, and how to get started with the free Merlin Bird ID app. We'll take a short walk and practice using Merlin to identify common birds by sight and sound. Perfect for curious beginners of all ages—no prior experience needed! Binoculars available to borrow. Please download the Merlin App prior to walk.
