About WPSAC:
The Weequahic Park Sports Authority Conservancy (WPSAC) is a nonprofit, community-based organization committed to revitalizing Weequahic Park through safe, engaging, and inclusive recreational programs. As a long-standing volunteer partner with Essex County, WPSAC leads youth sports leagues, wellness initiatives, community cleanups, and public safety campaigns to ensure Weequahic Park thrives as a hub of positive activity for locals and visitors.
From installing energy-efficient LED park lighting to training hundreds of youth through recreational opportunities i.e. NFL Flag, USA Football, USTA, and trainings, WPSAC builds community connections that make lasting change in the South Ward and beyond.
