Gather with industry trailblazers—chocolate makers, chocolatiers, cocoa suppliers, and visionaries—who are shaping the future of fine chocolate.

This in-person event is designed to deliver real value to the chocolate world by sparking fresh ideas and cultivate powerful connections within our community.

1:00 p.m. Welcome Address - Presented by Dahlia Graham - President of the and CEO of .


1:15 p.m. Making Choices for Chocolate: Navigating the Greater NY Region - Moderated by Maricel Presilla with panelists that include Jesse Diaz of and Pepi Di Giacomo of . The Greater New York region is a melting pot of cultures and entrepreneurial spirits, with chocolate makers and people catering to the fine chocolate industry from diverse backgrounds setting up shop in the area.

This panel will bring together experts from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, to share their experiences and insights on doing business in this vibrant but also challenging region. Panelists will share their experiences on selecting the right space, themes, equipment, and strategies for success in a region known for accessibility, visibility, cultural diversity, but also challenges like high operating cost and rents.


2:45 p.m. Marketing & Selling More Chocolate: Insights from Successful Makers - Moderated by Ricardo Trillos of . Join us for a dynamic panel discussion with experienced chocolatiers and chocolate makers as we talk about real time strategies for marketing and selling more chocolate. From brand storytelling and product positioning to sales channels and customer engagement, this session is packed with insights to help you grow your chocolate business in today’s competitive market.


4:00 p.m. Community Tribute: We’ll gather to celebrate the lives and legacies of two remarkable contributors to our field, Eric Case and Ed Seguine.


5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Networking & Collaboration: Wrap up your day at the FCIA Summer Event with an exclusive networking reception at The Cocoa Store. Whether you're an FCIA member, an artisan chocolate maker, or attending the nearby Fancy Food Show, this reception is your chance to connect with fellow professionals and enthusiasts shaping the future of fine chocolate.
