With a heavy heart, LGP is changing our weekend District Camp to a day camp as Flandrau State Park has discovered a hole in the main well and has officially closed the group center for this year for safety reasons.
The LGP Committee has decided to transition to a day camp on Friday, June 13th (registration will begin at 9:00 AM and pick up will be between 7:30-8:00 PM). Camp will now be held at the Beach House (right next to the sand bottom pool). The sand bottom pool is located in the main part of Flandrau State Park and not on that backside by the group center. You will need a valid State Park Sticker to enter.
We are asking girls to bring swimming gear (suit, towel, sunscreen, sandals, ect.), a bag to keep their wet items in, bug spray, a glue stick, water bottle, and a towel or blanket to sit on during activities. Also, please have your camper(s) dress in their Birthstone Color to camp.
We are cancelling all the sign-up genius items and the LGP District Committee will be purchasing all that we need. All snacks and meals will be provided. We ask that adults bring a lawn chair if they are able.
The cost of the day camp will be reduced to $25.00 per camper which covers the costs of the camp t-shirts, food and snacks, and craft supplies for the day.
