Play Reading Group

We’ll read the play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar aloud from start to finish this evening. Corporate lawyer Amir Kapoor is happy, in love, and about to land the biggest career promotion of his life.

When he and his artist wife, Emily, host an intimate dinner party at their Upper East Side apartment, what starts out as a friendly conversation soon escalates.

No acting required, just reading! Listeners are welcome too. The group is moderated by a volunteer with a background in theater.
