Nature Storytime with Miss Jan: Shapes of Love and Joy

Join Miss Jan for Nature Story Time! Join us as we celebrate the summer solstice! Shapes are found throughout the natural world. Shapes like the hearts found in leaves or flowers, the hexagon shapes in a beehive, Triangles found on ferns and other plants, and circles, ovals and spirals found in so many parts of nature! People all over the world experience feelings of joy when looking at or interacting with round shapes like circles, spirals and ovals. During this Nature Story time event, we will take a treasure hunt, looking for shapes in nature around the Beekley property. Then we will return to the garden to create our own shapes from nature treasures to create feelings of love and joy for others for the week.
