Mickey Minnich Day

On Monday, June 16, Vickie’s Angel Foundation invites you to join them in celebrating Mickey Minnich Day, a special day to honor the life, service, and legacy of their founder and president, Mickey Minnich.

Mickey’s story is one of servant leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his community. After losing his beloved wife Vickie to cancer, Mickey turned his grief into purpose, founding Vickie’s Angel Foundation in 2003, just when their retirement was planned to begin. Since then, the foundation has raised over $5 million and provided assistance to thousands of central Pennsylvania residents battling cancer. This is all thanks to Mickey’s vision and tireless work.

As many know, Mickey’s impact began long before VAF. As a teacher, coach, counselor, and Army veteran, he has spent his life mentoring, guiding, and lifting up others. Even now, many of his former players and students still reach out, follow his work, and support the mission he’s built. We invite you to help celebrate -
