Musical Mondays is a popular summer series of FREE Monday morning concerts where kids can sing, squirm and dance, and adults can relax and enjoy (or sing and dance too!) The collaboration between the Nevada County library and InConcert Sierra presents live music experiences with a fun educational twist at the Marian E. Gallaher, M.D. Amphitheater, adjacent to the Madelyn Helling Library at the Rood Center.
Bring your snacks and a lawn chair or blanket and be ready for an hour of engaging music performed by local and regional professional musicians.

Sage Po is a harpist who loves bringing the beauty of her instrument to weddings, dinners, and special events of all kinds. After falling in love with the harp at age eight, she immediately began taking lessons with Celtic harpist Lisa Stine. After several years she shifted her focus to classical music, studying with Laura Porter, principal harpist of the Fresno Philharmonic. Since then she has performed across the country and been awarded numerous honors for her interpretations of both classic showpieces and new works for the harp.
Sage Po has performed in the orchestras of InConcert Sierra, Music in the Mountains, as well as, Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, Johnstown Symphony, and Altoona Symphony and was featured by the Pittsburgh Concert Society, Johnstown Chamber Music Festival, and the Carnegie Mellon Baroque Ensemble..
Sage holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Harp Performance and a Certificate in Music Education from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She now lives in California’s beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills, where she is a concert artist, chamber musician, and music educator.
