About the event

VJ Day - Service of Commemoration

On the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII, VJ Day, a service of commemoration will be held at St Mary's Nantwich, with music by Concordia, and attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, the Mayor of Nantwich, and the Mayor of Cheshire East.
The service will be followed by a parade to the Square for an Act of Remembrance, followed by the Lighting of the Beacon.
Everyone welcome. No tickets needed.
